ဒီကေန႔ ခ်ဳကလီ နားက နအဖ ၈ ေယာက္က်တဲ့ တုိက္ပြဲ
အခုရက္ပိုင္းေတြအတြင္းမွာ ဒီေကဘီေအနဲ႔ နအဖ တပ္ေတြရဲ႕ တုိက္ပြဲေတြဟာ ဆက္တုိက္ဆိုသလိုျဖစ္ပြားေနၿပီး နအဖ ဘက္က အင္အားအလံုးအရင္းနဲ႔ ျဖန္႔ခြဲအသံုးျပဳတာေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ ဒီေန႔မွာဆုိရင္လည္း အံုးဖန္နဲ႔ ကေလာ့ေထာ့ အနီးက ခ်ဴကလီရြာနားမွာလည္း ဇန္နဝါရီလ ၁၁ ရက္ေန႔ မနက္ ၈ နာရီက တုိက္ပြဲျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့ပါေသးတယ္။
ဒီေကဘီေအ တပ္ဖြဲ႔ေတြက ခ်ဳကလီရြာအနီးမွာ နအဖ တပ္ေတြကို ေစာင့္ႀကိဳတုိက္ခိုက္ခဲ့တာျဖစ္ၿပီး နအဖ ဘက္က ၈ ေယာက္ ေသဆံုတယ္လို႔ သိရွိရပါတယ္။
ဇန္နဝါရီလ ၁၀ ရက္ေန႔ ေလးေဒး ေနရာမွာျဖစ္တဲ့ တုိက္ပြဲမွာလည္း နအဖဘက္က ထိခိုက္ေသဆံုး ၅၀ ရွိခဲ့ၿပီး အဲဒီထဲကမွ ၂၀ ေယာက္ဟာ ဒဏ္ရာျပင္းထန္ရခဲ့တဲ့ အျပင္ အက်ဥ္းသားေတြကို အထမ္းသမားအျဖစ္နဲ႔ေခၚလာခဲ့တဲ့ သူေတြထဲက ၆ ဦးလည္း ေသဆံုးခဲ့တယ္လုိ႔၊ သိရပါတယ္။ ဒီေကဘီေအဘက္က တဦး ဒဏ္ရာနဲ႔ ၁ ဦး က်ဆံုးခဲ့ပါတယ္။
အခု နအဖ ရဲ႕ ထုိးစစ္အတြင္းမွာ နအဖ စစ္သားအင္အား အလံုးအရင္းနဲ႔သံုးတဲ့အျပင္ အင္းစိန္၊ ေမာ္လၿမိဳင္၊ ဘားအံေတာင္ကေလးက အက်ဥ္းသားေတြကို လူသားမုိင္းရွင္းအျဖစ္ရယ္ အထမ္းသမားအျဖစ္ရယ္ပါ တြင္တြင္က်ယ္က်ယ္ အသံုးျပဳေနတာေတြကို ယခုျဖစ္ေနတဲ့ ေဝၚေလ နဲ႔ ဖလူးေဒသက နအဖ ထိုးစစ္ေတြမွာ ေတြ႔ျမင္ၾကံဳေတြ႔ေနရပါတယ္။

Karen People in the UK Celebrate Karen New Year and Youth of the Year 2010 Award
Today, Karen community in the United Kingdom celebrates Karen New Year in Sheffield city. On this special day, Karen people around the world celebrate it with joy and happiness. This celebration is organized by the Karen Community Association UK (KCA-UK) with the aim to preserve and promote Karen culture.
The Karen New Year celebration is taking place all over the world wherever the Karen people are. It began 2750 years ago and on this significant day, no matter where the Karen people are, they all come together with community spirit and celebrate it with joyfulness.
In the UK, the celebration today features many important Karen cultural performances including Karen Done Dance, Bamboo Dance, and Karen songs. There are also speeches including the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Alan Law JP.
There is a special session where the KCA-UK awards ‘Youth of the Year 2010’ to two young remarkable persons, Naw Blut Htoo Win and Naw Blut Say Win, in honour of their outstanding work, dedication and effort in the community. This award recognises and thanks them for their hard work towards the development of the Karen people and as role models of other young people.
“Today is very important day for our Karen people. It signifies our Karen people’s identity, brings unity, joy and love for each other. In Burma, we can not celebrate our national days freely. I hope one day, we can all enjoy our new year in our homeland without fear. Let us celebrate our new year with new hope and new spirit to bring about change in our homeland”, said Saw Eh Htee Kaw, joint secretary of the Karen Community Association UK.
Currently, around 500 Karen people are residing in the UK and most of them are refugees who fled from attacks by the Burmese Army in their home land. The KCA-UK represents the Karen Community in the UK. It assists the community with problems they face coming to live in the UK, raises awareness about the situation in Burma, raises money to help refugees and internally displaced people, and campaigns for action by the international community. KCA-UK also aims to promote unity among the Karen and at the same time preserve and promote Karen’s culture, literature and language in UK.

SECOND EUROPEAN KAREN CONFERENCE WAS HELD SUCCESSFULLY
A Europe-wide Karen conference was held successfully on 28-29 December 2010 in Nyborg, Denmark.
This is the second time a European Karen Conference, organised by the European Karen Network, has been held in Europe. Karen communities from five countries; Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the United Kingdom, participated in the meeting.
The purpose of this meeting is to organise Karen communities in Europe to support the struggle for freedom in Burma.
Various issues related to the Karen people were discussed during the meeting including, the need to strengthen Karen communities across Europe, how to influence governments in countries where there are Karen communities, and improve cooperation with other exiled ethnic groups from Burma.
As the November 2010 elections in Burma did not bring change that the Karen and all the people in Burma want, EKN believes that through inclusive dialogue and the establishment of a federal democratic Burma, we can move forward towards real freedom that guarantees positive change and equality for all the people in Burma. EKN would like to welcome other Karen communities around the world to work together for the development of the Karen people.
EKN calls on the European Union and the United Nations to redouble its efforts to pressure the dictatorship in Burma to enter into negotiations with ethnic forces, and democracy forces led by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, through tripartite dialogue. The EU and UN should take the issue of the Karen and other ethnic groups more seriously and bring them into Burma’s political process.
European Karen Network was set up in July 2009 with the aim to raise awareness about the situation of the Karen people of Burma, and Burma as a whole. We are the voice in Europe of the Karen struggle for freedom. We pressure European governments and the rest of the international community to do more to bring about democratic transition in Burma.

နအဖ တပ္က DKBA ကို ထိုင္းေျမေပၚမွ တိုက္ရန္ ႀကိဳးစား
ကရင္ျပည္နယ္ ျမ၀တီၿမိဳ႕နယ္ ဖလူးေဒသတြင္ တပ္စြဲထားသည့္ တိုးတက္ေသာ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ ကရင္အမ်ိဳးသား တပ္မေတာ္ (DKBA) ဗ်ဴဟာ (၁) ႏွင့္ ဗ်ဴဟာ (၂) တပ္ဖြဲ႕၀င္မ်ားကို ေခ်မႈန္းရန္ ထိုင္းႏိုင္ငံ တဖက္ကမ္းမွ တဆင့္ ၀င္ေရာက္လာမည့္ နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္ (၅၀) ခန္႔ကို ယမန္ေန႔ညက လက္ဦးမႈယူ၍ DKBA က တိုက္ခိုက္ခဲ့ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။
DKBA ဗ်ဴဟာ(၁)မႉး ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ေက်ာ္သက္က"ဖလူးရြာမွာ အေျခစိုက္ တပ္က အင္အား(၅၀) မေန႔ည(၈)နာရီမွာ ထိုင္း ဘက္ျခမ္း မဲေဆာက္အပိုင္ မဲ့ကိုကင္းရြာကေန ကူးၿပီး က်ေနာ္တို႔ကို တိုက္ဖို႔ ဆင္းလာတာကို သိလို႔ ျပန္ တိုက္ထုတ္ လိုက္ရတယ္”ဟု ဧရာ၀တီသို႔ ေျပာသည္။
ယင္းတိုက္ပြဲေၾကာင့္ နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႕၀င္ တဦး ဒဏ္ရာရရွိသည္ဟု သိရေသာ္လည္း မည္သည့္ တပ္မွ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းကိုမူ အတိ အက် မသိရွိရေသးေပ။
နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ား ထုိင္းႏိုင္ငံဘက္မွ ၀င္ေရာက္မည့္ အစီအစဥ္မွာ ထိုင္းအာဏာပိုင္မ်ား၏ ခြင္ျပဳခ်က္ မရဘဲ ၀င္ေရာက္ ရန္ ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေျခ မရိွေၾကာင္း၊ အလားတူ ၀င္ေရာက္မႈမ်ိဳးကို ယခင္က ထိုင္းအာဏာပိုင္မ်ားက ခြင့္ျပဳခဲ့ဖူးေၾကာင္း DKBA တပ္မႉး တဦးက ေျပာသည္။
မဲေဆာက္ အေျခစိုက္ အမွတ္(၄) ေဒသဆိုင္ရာ ကြပ္ကဲေရး တပ္မႉး ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ဆူပါခ်ိဳ႕ထ၀ပ္ဖိလာခ်ိဳင္းက ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ ဘက္မွ မည္သည့္လူမ်ိဳးစု လက္နက္ကိုင္ အဖြဲ႔ကိုမဆို ထိုင္းႏိုင္ငံအတြင္း အေျခခ် လုပ္ရွားခြင့္ျပဳမည္မဟုတ္ဘဲ ေတြ႕ရွိ ပါက ဖမ္းဆီး အေရးယူျခင္း ခံရမည္ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ေဒသခံ သတင္းေထာက္မ်ားကို ေျပာၾကားထားသည္။
ထို႔အျပင္ ထုိင္းျပည္သူမ်ား ေလးစားၾကည္ညိဳေသာ အေရးႀကီး ပုဂၢိဳလ္တဦး ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာ နယ္စပ္ ခရီးစဥ္ရွိသည့္ အတြက္ DKBA ႏွင့္ ကရင္အမ်ဳိးသား အစည္းအ႐ုံး KNU တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ားက နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ားႏွင့္ တိုက္ခိုက္ျခင္းမ်ားကုိ ေခတၱရပ္ နားဖြယ္ရွိေၾကာင္း သတင္းမ်ားလည္း ထြက္ေပၚေနသည္။
အတည္မျပဳႏုိင္ေသးေသာ သတင္းမ်ားအရ ထုိင္းဘုရင့္ သမီးေတာ္ မဟာခ်က္ကရီ သီရိဒုံ မင္းသမီး ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာ နယ္စပ္ သို႔ ယခု လကုန္ပုိင္းတြင္ အလည္အပတ္ ေရာက္ရွိလာမည္ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။
ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ေက်ာ္သက္က"ဒီခရီးစဥ္ရိွတဲ့ အတြက္ ဒီရက္ပိုင္း အတြင္းမွာ က်ေနာ္တို႔ဘက္က ဘာစစ္ေရး လႈပ္ရွားမႈကိုမွ လုပ္မွာ မဟုတ္ဘူး၊ ဒီအေရးႀကီး ပုဂၢိဳလ္ကို က်ေနာ္တို႔လည္း ေလးစားၿပီးသားပါ၊ နအဖ ဘက္ကသာ ေလးစားအားနာရ ေကာင္းမွန္း မသိဘဲ အရင္တိုက္ခိုက္လာမယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ က်ေနာ္တို႔ဘက္က သင့္တင့္တဲ့ နည္းတမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးနဲ႔ ကိုင္တြယ္သြား ရမွာ ျဖစ္တယ္"ဟု ဆိုသည္။
ယေန႔ ျမ၀တီႏွင့္ ေကာ့ကရိတ္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ အတြင္းရွိ ေဒသမ်ားတြင္ တိုက္ပြဲမ်ား ျဖစ္ပြားျခင္း မရွိေသာ္လည္း အခ်ိန္မေရႊး ျပန္လည္ ျဖစ္ပြားႏုိင္ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။
ကရင္ျပည္နယ္ ျမ၀တီခ႐ိုင္ ဖလူးႀကီး၊ ဖလူေလး၊ မင္းလက္ပံ ရြာမွ ရြာသား ၁၀၀၀ ခန္႔ ထိုင္းနယ္စပ္ အနီးရွိ ေက်းရြာမ်ားတြင္ ခိုလံႈေနေၾကာင္း ၎တို႔ကိုအကူ အညီေပးေနသည့္ မယ္ေတာ္ေဆးခန္း(MTC)အဖြဲ႔မွ ေဆးမႉးေစာေနဦး က ေျပာ သည္။
ႏို၀င္ဘာလ ၇ ရက္ေန႔က ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲ က်င္းပေနစဥ္ ျမ၀တီၿမိဳ႕နယ္ အပါအ၀င္ ဘုရားသံုးဆူၿမိဳ႕ႏွင့္ ၾကာအင္းဆိပ္ႀကီး ၿမိဳ႕နယ္မ်ားတြင္ စစ္အစိုးရတပ္ႏွင့္ DKBA တပ္မဟာ ၅ တို႔ တုိက္ပြဲမ်ား စတင္ျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့ၿပီးေနာက္ ေန႔စဥ္နီးပါး တုိက္ပြဲမ်ား ဆက္တိုက္ ျဖစ္ပြားလ်က္ရွိသည္။
DKBA ဗ်ဴဟာ(၁)မႉး ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ေက်ာ္သက္က"ဖလူးရြာမွာ အေျခစိုက္ တပ္က အင္အား(၅၀) မေန႔ည(၈)နာရီမွာ ထိုင္း ဘက္ျခမ္း မဲေဆာက္အပိုင္ မဲ့ကိုကင္းရြာကေန ကူးၿပီး က်ေနာ္တို႔ကို တိုက္ဖို႔ ဆင္းလာတာကို သိလို႔ ျပန္ တိုက္ထုတ္ လိုက္ရတယ္”ဟု ဧရာ၀တီသို႔ ေျပာသည္။
ယင္းတိုက္ပြဲေၾကာင့္ နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႕၀င္ တဦး ဒဏ္ရာရရွိသည္ဟု သိရေသာ္လည္း မည္သည့္ တပ္မွ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းကိုမူ အတိ အက် မသိရွိရေသးေပ။
နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ား ထုိင္းႏိုင္ငံဘက္မွ ၀င္ေရာက္မည့္ အစီအစဥ္မွာ ထိုင္းအာဏာပိုင္မ်ား၏ ခြင္ျပဳခ်က္ မရဘဲ ၀င္ေရာက္ ရန္ ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေျခ မရိွေၾကာင္း၊ အလားတူ ၀င္ေရာက္မႈမ်ိဳးကို ယခင္က ထိုင္းအာဏာပိုင္မ်ားက ခြင့္ျပဳခဲ့ဖူးေၾကာင္း DKBA တပ္မႉး တဦးက ေျပာသည္။
မဲေဆာက္ အေျခစိုက္ အမွတ္(၄) ေဒသဆိုင္ရာ ကြပ္ကဲေရး တပ္မႉး ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ဆူပါခ်ိဳ႕ထ၀ပ္ဖိလာခ်ိဳင္းက ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ ဘက္မွ မည္သည့္လူမ်ိဳးစု လက္နက္ကိုင္ အဖြဲ႔ကိုမဆို ထိုင္းႏိုင္ငံအတြင္း အေျခခ် လုပ္ရွားခြင့္ျပဳမည္မဟုတ္ဘဲ ေတြ႕ရွိ ပါက ဖမ္းဆီး အေရးယူျခင္း ခံရမည္ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ေဒသခံ သတင္းေထာက္မ်ားကို ေျပာၾကားထားသည္။
ထို႔အျပင္ ထုိင္းျပည္သူမ်ား ေလးစားၾကည္ညိဳေသာ အေရးႀကီး ပုဂၢိဳလ္တဦး ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာ နယ္စပ္ ခရီးစဥ္ရွိသည့္ အတြက္ DKBA ႏွင့္ ကရင္အမ်ဳိးသား အစည္းအ႐ုံး KNU တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ားက နအဖ တပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ားႏွင့္ တိုက္ခိုက္ျခင္းမ်ားကုိ ေခတၱရပ္ နားဖြယ္ရွိေၾကာင္း သတင္းမ်ားလည္း ထြက္ေပၚေနသည္။
အတည္မျပဳႏုိင္ေသးေသာ သတင္းမ်ားအရ ထုိင္းဘုရင့္ သမီးေတာ္ မဟာခ်က္ကရီ သီရိဒုံ မင္းသမီး ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာ နယ္စပ္ သို႔ ယခု လကုန္ပုိင္းတြင္ အလည္အပတ္ ေရာက္ရွိလာမည္ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။
ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ေက်ာ္သက္က"ဒီခရီးစဥ္ရိွတဲ့ အတြက္ ဒီရက္ပိုင္း အတြင္းမွာ က်ေနာ္တို႔ဘက္က ဘာစစ္ေရး လႈပ္ရွားမႈကိုမွ လုပ္မွာ မဟုတ္ဘူး၊ ဒီအေရးႀကီး ပုဂၢိဳလ္ကို က်ေနာ္တို႔လည္း ေလးစားၿပီးသားပါ၊ နအဖ ဘက္ကသာ ေလးစားအားနာရ ေကာင္းမွန္း မသိဘဲ အရင္တိုက္ခိုက္လာမယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ က်ေနာ္တို႔ဘက္က သင့္တင့္တဲ့ နည္းတမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးနဲ႔ ကိုင္တြယ္သြား ရမွာ ျဖစ္တယ္"ဟု ဆိုသည္။
